Who owns English? Is there a "best" English for the ESL classroom in a multi-lingual world? How can our diverse classrooms help address native speakerism?

In a world of global English, where nonnative English speakers outnumber native speakers by a ratio of three to one, learners preparing for real world communication will benefit from diverse teaching faculty and resources that represent multiple pronunciations, grammars, and lexicons.
