ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Alanna Carter is an English language instructor at the Real Institute at Ryerson University. She has worked on a range of curriculum development projects for various stakeholders and student populations. Her interests include helping international students adjust to Canadian culture and fostering diverse learning environments.

Rebecca Schmor is an academic English instructor at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. She has studied, worked, and travelled in more than 20 countries, and has taught English, German, and Spanish at a variety of language institutions. She is passionate about language education and intercultural communication.
